My First Blog Post

Brooklyn Wright

Yeah I know, the title of my first post is pretty un-original... but hey, I'm new to this whole blogging thing! I'm definitely not the world's greatest when it comes to writing, and I am most definitely not a walking dictionary...

I am a 21 year old with NO KIDS who for a long time struggled with finding purpose. Not going to lie either, I still don't know what I entirely want to do with my life, but this blog is a start. It's so crazy because up until a few weeks ago, this blog was just "a dream" within my head (what better time than now during COVID-19). For the longest time, I had always had the desire to create my own "celebrity blog," but I knew for sure I couldn't compete with the top dogs like TMZ and TheShadeRoom. We all know they're the best when it comes to finding out the tea!

Anyways...after some research, I decided that I would create a Lifestyle Blog. There are so many topics I genuinely love like fashion, traveling, cooking, etc. I thought that this would be the best route to go. Rather than limiting myself to one topic, I am doing a variety so I can connect with others who may potentially find my content relatable. I am going to keep it as real and raw as I can y'all!

I would like to write as much as possible, but I do have a full-time job and am currently enrolled in school, so I don't want to commit to a schedule just yet for my post. My goal is to push out content once a week or more if feasible. If you have any topics or suggestions please don't hesitate to contact me! I'm super excited about this journey I am about to start.

Last but not least, I want to give a shout-out to Scottie! If you're reading (you better), I just want to say thank you for pushing me and giving me words of encouragement to start this. Here lately, I have just been wanting to surround myself with nothing but positivity. I'm so thankful we were able to cross paths! If it wasn't for your business like mindset and you pushing me, I'm 99% sure I wouldn't be writing this right now.

I would like to end with this quote, "You need to associate with people that inspire you, people that challenge you to rise higher, people that make you better. Don’t waste your valuable time with people that are not adding to your growth. Your destiny is too important."- Joel Osteen
